In 1998, John and Sara Freundschuh purchased Bobcat of Buffalo, relocating from Rochester to Buffalo, NY. John had spent 12 years as a salesman at a dealership in Rochester, NY before taking a leap of faith and purchasing his own dealership in Western New York. His vision was simple: create a family-owned business built on hard work, honesty, and relationships. That vision is still alive today. After John’s passing in 2010, his son Tim purchased the business from his mother, Sara, and continues to grow the company alongside his family. There are now five locations of Upstate Equipment in NY.
Over the years, Upstate Equipment has earned a reputation as a trusted leader in the industry.
